About The Lenses
I ordered the Geo Nudy Grey circle lenses from Pinky Paradise and they are by far my favorite lenses out of my entire collection. I already posted a comment about them on the site if you click the link (12/3/09).
Comfort level: 10/10. These lenses aren't as thick as regular circle lenses like Honey Wings and Adult Series lenses. I think these are even more comfortable than my Freshlook Colorblend contact lenses.
Enlargement: 10/10. As I posted on the Pinky Paradise website, I feel like I'm watching a magic show every time I put the lenses in and take them out. It's a DEFINITE change. The actual lens size is the same as a regular American soft lens contact (14.00mm). For example: a Geo Nudy Gray lens is the same size as a Freshlook Colorblend lens.
Design: 9/10. These are pretty natural but people can still tell these are contact lenses. They have reptile-like appearance but usually it doesn't look TOO abnormal. More than likely your friends who don't know about circle lenses will be jealous. These lenses are quite gorgeous.
My only complaint about these lenses is that it's very difficult to if the lens is inside out or not. With my lenses, either way I have it, it makes that "U" shape. However, I figured out a solution to help me determine which is the correct way to have the lens. When the lens is on your fingertip, put a few drops of solution on the lens and make sure it stays in the lens. If you check the lens shape, it should make a more defined "U" shape that looks like a bowl. If you have it inside out, the liquid forces the lens to the proper shape where the edges are "folding over".
There was one more issue I had with these lenses. I soaked them overnight but my first week wearing them was terrifying. My very first day was okay but the second day, I wore the lenses for six hours and the lenses got stuck to my eyes. The next day I took a short 30 minute nap and the lenses got stuck to my eyes again. The day after that, I would wear it for longer but I could feel my eyes drying out again. I literally had to peel the lenses off of my eyes. Now I can wear these lenses in all day and my eyes will feel fine. I think the lenses just needed to soak in my contact solution and completely get rid of the original liquid it came with.
My suggestion would be to lubricate your eyes frequently and also constantly clean your lenses while also changing the lens solution before you store your lenses. Don't wear them for more than 6-8 hours straight and never sleep in them. You're hurting your eyes (even if it doesn't feel like it). Contact lenses restrict oxygen from getting to your eyes which results in unhealthy eyes/health and could worsen your eyesight or even make you blind. Just take care of your lenses and your eyes to avoid any harm done to your body.
About The Website
This part of the review will be brief. Ultimately, this website is extremely easy for simple folk, like myself, to understand. Navigation is simple. There are pictures of the lens and most of the lenses have a picture of a human model wearing the lenses so buyers have an easier time determining whether or not they want to purchase the product.
The lenses have brief descriptions, also known as the "Item Details" which includes information such as water content percentage and lens size.
Purchasing is easy and they hold your hand throughout the entire procedure. Back when I purchased, there weren't reviews or anything, but now they have customer feedback which I think is FANTASTIC. You can read the reviews/feedback when browsing through the different types of lenses. Customers review on their experience under the category of the lens(es) that they purchased.
The prices are great and the shop is an honest one. They keep you updated on your purchase. I've had zero problems when dealing with this site.
Shipping & Packaging
My lenses came in an orange envelope. It was smaller than I expected. I'd say it was about 3.5inx5.5in. Then again, I only ordered lenses. They don't need to go overboard for something so tiny. Anyway, the envelope is pre-bubble wrapped on the inside. Then they wrap your lens vials in bubble wrap twice (it's secure, I had to use scissors to free the vials) and hold it together with tape. They then place it inside the already protected envelope. The lenses were extremely safe during their travel to America.
My biggest surprise was that they sent a FREE cutie case with the circle lenses. When I ordered my first lenses, they didn't have that promotion where you get a free Cutie Lens Case with every pair of circle lenses. The promotion came a few days AFTER I made my purchase. I was quite pleased that they sent me a case. :)
Don't forget, Pinky Paradise is located in Malaysia so if you're living in the U.S, expect it to take at least seven business days to get to you. The lenses take a while to get to you, but I personally think it's worth the wait.
